According to Ngwa Nebasina (1981), Bafut is located between Latitudes 6010'' North of the Equator and Longitudes 10000'' and 10013'' East of the Greenwich Meridian, in the Republic of Cameroon. Administratively, it is a sub-Division within Mezam Division in the NorthWest Region.
