At death the families and communities celebrate just as at birth in the reversed manner. They don't believe they have losted their love onces but rather thry have travelled to the land where they will meet to part no more.  When a person dies there are actually two ceremonies; death of aches- showing of grief by pouring wood ash on their heads. And that which includes all the traditional rites and ceremonies which seek the peace and blessings of the ancestors and usually end after a period of 8 days. Failure to perform this celebrations is regarded as the denounced or reject of the deceased spirit. This however  has negative effects on the children and even family members manifested in the form of curses, dreaded diseases, no progress .
